Stock Touring - ROAR stock motors, 17.5 brushless 4600 maH limit or ROAR approved LIPO

Super Stock Sedan - 13.5 brushless only, 4600 maH limit or ROAR approved LIPO

19T Sedan - ROAR 19T or 10.5 brusless, 4600 maH limit or ROAR approved LIPO

1/12 Scale GTP Stock - ROAR stock motors, 17.5 brushless 4600 maH limit or ROAR approved LIPO

1/12 Scale GTP 19T - ROAR 19T or 10.5 brusless, 4600 maH limit or ROAR approved LIPO

1/18 Scale Sedan - run what you brung

First Entry $35.00, additional entries $25.00

Friday - all day practice

Saturday - three heats

Sunday - 1 heat and the Mains

The Coliseum

One of the finest indoor asphalt race tracks is at HobbyTown USA in Frederick, MD. The Colisium track is 100 feet by 46 feet of inch and a half of asphalt in an airconditioned room that includes permanent pit tables for 40 racers complete with power outlets for each station. Overflow for large races is accomodated in the adjacent activities room which will hold an additional 80 racers.

Races are every Saturday. Practice is from 10 AM to 1:40 PM. Races start at 2:00 PM. Stock and 19 turn Sedan classes, Sportsman class, Mini-Cooper and Tamiya Spec (Silver Can) classes are run (3 or more required to run a class).

The track is set up with a movable barrier system that allows the road course to be changed on a periodic basis. The barrier is plastic 4x4 fencing post material along with flexable sweepers.

The Colisium uses AMB's digital transponder system and JLap software for accurate lap timing. Personal AMB transponders are welcome. 20 house transponders are available for those who do not have a personal transponder.
